WHIMS 2015

WHMIS: Workplace Hazardous Information System

This is a Canada-wide program aimed at your “Right to Know”. This simple to understand information system is used to assist and inform the employee about hazardous materials they might be working with or around. Pursuant to the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation surrounding WHMIS, we provide a program which informs the participants about the eight hazardous classifications, Supplier and Work Place Labels, Material Safety Data Sheets, consumer product symbols the similarities to the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act and what is exempt from WHMIS.

The course participant will receive an easy to follow student study guide and certificate upon successful completion. WHMIS needs to be reviewed each year – we provide a yearly review program.

We take the business of safety training seriously, but we teach in a relaxed fun atmosphere.

Please see our Course Calendar or call us to register for classes.
